Branson Golf With an outstanding list of honors and awards to their credit by GolfDigest, Golfweek, and Travel and Leisure Golf Magazine among others, the Branson area's many courses are among the Midwest's finest. Integrating inspired course design by Tom Fazio and Jack Nicklaus with rugged Ozark Mountain topography, these courses offer scenic and challenging play for beginners and avid players alike. Players can expect to find lush Bermuda and Zoysia fairways and tees, bent grass greens, plenty of waterfalls, lakes, creeks and bunker features, and a variety of open and tree-lined fairways. Several courses stay open year round with reduced rates November through March and discounts for play after 12 pm, multiple players and in combination with lodging packages. Most of these courses can accommodate tournaments and corporate special events, and offer private instructions by appointment. The Branson Area Golf Council is a great source of information about the area's courses. Branson Creek Golf Club - takes the fun outdoors by adding golf to the mix of superstar entertainment. Designed by architect Tom Fazio, Branson Creek is quickly becoming the premiere golf destination in the Midwest as it calls attention to the natural beauty of the Ozark Mountains. Branson Creek Golf Club has held the #1 Public Course rating in Missouri since 2001 for both Golf Digest and Golf Magazine. Nationally, Branson Creek holds the #60 ranking in Golf Digest's “Top 100 in America” for 2007-2008. Holiday Hills - Originally built in 1938, this course was rebuilt from tee to green and reopened in 1997. The new course is "user friendly" with flat to rolling terrain, featuring a variety of holes to challenge the low and high handicapper alike. The fairways are wide and open. The bent-grass greens are large and undulating. The course offers four tee boxes on each hole to accommodate every level of golfer. This is a very forgiving course. Beautiful landscaping, lakes and creeks, several waterfalls and massive trees border many of the lush Bermuda fairways. Holiday Hills provides an enjoyable round for all. This is a "must play" course while in Branson! Murder Rock - Designed by Landmark Land Company Inc., the 18-hole Championship Golf Course enhances the magnificent landscape of the Ozark Mountains, incorporating the natural beauty of the land with lush fairways and pristine greens. Just south of Branson, in an area rich in history, John Daly's Murder Rock Golf and Country Club is a Semi-Private Club located within the acclaimed Branson Creek Residential Community. The golf course has been built on parcels of the property with elevations that provide for expansive and dramatic views from every vantage point. Ledgestone - Golf Digest called Ledgestone "a masterpiece of mountain golf architecture." Spectacular scenery accentuates the hilly terrain and dense forests that border virtually all of the narrow Zoysia fairways. Water is in play on 10 holes. Bunkers surround the speedy bentgrass greens. Ledgestone becomes the favorite course of many of our visitors. You will remember every beautiful hole. Pointe Royale - A scenic resort located in the country music boom town of Branson. The rolling hills, narrow tree-lined bermuda fairways, water on 9 holes and bunkers on every hole make it a real challenge for all players. A number of country music stars live on the course. Pointe Royale also offers 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom condominiums on the course for nightly rentals and golf packages. Thousand Hills - Located in the heart of Branson, only minutes from anywhere in the Branson Tri-Lakes area, our Golf Digest award-winning golf course is the most unique and challenging in Branson. Built around a meandering creek and large rock outcroppings, you can truly experience the beauty of the Ozarks. With dramatic elevation changes and plenty of water and sand, Thousand Hills is a challenge second to none. Tournament conditions everyday, a relaxed family atmosphere and great service make for a great day of golf in Branson. Top of the Rock - is a 9 hole, Jack Nicklaus designed resort, par 3 golf course. Top of the Rock, a part of Big Cedar® Lodge, is one of only 11 courses in the nation to be recognized as an Audubon Signature Cooperative Sanctuary Program golf course. The course offers a challenge to every level of golfer, from beginner to the most avid player. Set high above Table Rock Lake, the course offers spectacular views in the midst of pristine golfing conditions. Come see why Jack wanted to be a part of Top of the Rock. |
